These Terms of Service govern your use of the Tayyib Essence website and any purchases made through it. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. Tayyib Essence is based in the Netherlands. These terms are governed by Dutch law and, where applicable, EU consumer protection regulations.

Products
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice. We make every effort to display product descriptions, scent profiles, and images as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour, appearance, or scent perception may occur. Prices are listed in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT for EU customers. Prices may change without prior notice. The price at the time of your order is the price you will be charged.
Orders & Payment
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that all information provided is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, for example in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. If your order is cancelled, you will be notified and any payment will be refunded in full. Payment is processed securely at checkout through our third-party payment provider. We do not store payment card information.
Shipping & Delivery
We ship to EU member states and the United Kingdom. Estimated delivery times and shipping costs are detailed in our Shipping & Returns policy. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control such as extreme weather or strikes. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. If you believe your package has been lost, contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date.
Returns & Refunds
Our Returns policy forms part of these Terms of Service. Please refer to the Shipping & Returns section for full details on eligibility, process, and refund timelines. Under EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order without giving a reason, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging.
Candle Safety
All candles must be used responsibly. By purchasing from Tayyib Essence, you agree to follow standard candle safety guidelines:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep away from children and pets
- Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface
- Keep away from flammable materials
- Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time
- Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each use
Tayyib Essence is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper use of our products.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Tayyib Essence website, including the brand name, logo, photography, copy, and product descriptions, is the property of Tayyib Essence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of this content without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch and EU law, Tayyib Essence is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under EU or Dutch law.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under EU law.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our website after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
